The options below are grouped by the way you use them. Available controls depend on the selected object, editor mode and enabled features.

Find the control you need, then follow the setup steps to test it in a level.
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| Enable Motor | The master motor switch. New vehicles start with it off, allowing the wheels to roll freely. Turning it off also prevents play input from powering the wheels. |
| Wheel Drive | Select All Wheel Drive, Rear Wheel Drive or Front Wheel Drive. These choices are disabled until Enable Motor is on. |
| All Wheel Drive | Power every road wheel. |
| Rear Wheel Drive | Power the rear wheel. On Military 6x6 this also powers the middle wheel. |
| Front Wheel Drive | Power only the front wheel. |
| Speed / Power | Set motor speed and available motor power. Tune these after selecting the driven wheels. |
| Control Car / Control Vehicle | Use the play controls to drive the vehicle. Only the wheels selected by Wheel Drive receive powered input. |
| Drive selection when disabled | Turning the motor off retains the selected drive mode. Switching it back on restores that choice. |
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| Vehicle / Frame / Chassis type | Choose the assembled vehicle type. Light vehicles use the Frame label and their own frame types. |
| Flip / Size | Mirror or scale the assembled vehicle. Recheck wheel clearance after resizing. |
| Wheel Skin / Wheel Size | Select a wheel appearance and its relative size. |
| Replace Wheel | Replace a named road wheel with a compatible object. |
| Wheel Hub Density / Wheel Hub Scale | Tune supported wheel-hub assemblies. These controls are hidden for frames that mount the wheels directly. |
| Enable Texture / Texture Type / Texture Scale | Enable a textured body appearance and select its material and repeat scale. |
| Suspension (Soft - Firm) | Tune supported suspension from soft to firm. |
| Suspension Position Offset | Adjust the suspension mounting position on supported motor vehicles. |
| Front Suspension (Soft - Firm) / Front Fork Position Offset | Light vehicles with front suspension expose these controls. They are hidden on frames without that suspension. |
| Saving the vehicle | The motor switch and wheel-drive selection are stored with the chassis. Older saved vehicles keep their previous motor behavior. |
